In case you didn't know already, we're The Wolffpak - a family of 5 Wolffs. If you're reading these pages, you probably already knew that though. So, you wanna check out the goings-on at the new project? Well, all in due time you'll have come to the right place. The concept here is to make this website a living journal chronicling the trials and tribulations we have gone through and will go through during the transformation of our "Home Crap Home" into the home of our dreams. A bit of history on the house is known. We hope to add to this by virtue of the San Jose historic museum.

The pictures we took of our new home (The Pit) prior to purchasing it are in Trip1 and Trip2 pages... We even took a movie and I converted it to a low-res downloadable movie. Yikes.

In late 2001, we decided to sell our old house -- the (short) chronicles of the houses we looked at are found in the house hunting pages.

Finished  7/12/02 - Post move-in pictures with a bit of commentary.

Shortly after moving in, a number of discoveries were to be had. We jotted down notes to remind us to write "The early Pit journal"...

12/27/02 - The project over Christmas break is removing soffits and tile from the kitchen.

Feb 2003 - Our Cats-N-dogs just love each other. Awwww

Feb 2003 - Permit parking is finally "in place" (but not enforced until March 1st - hmpf). We're quite happy to have it though. Lori is hugging the "College Park Permit Parking  Only" sign.

Jan/Feb 2003 - The kids' bathroom process (tiling) is shown here. This was done as a VERY quick process since the house appraiser was coming in about a week. So, we cut tile and set tile for night after night. The final product will be photographed soon, but it is not quite complete yet. Still needs the fixtures, some more grout, seal, and a coat of paint on the walls. Then it'll be done.
